To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the famous racing game Gran Turismo, Nissan has developed a virtual prototype called 2020 Vision Gran Turismo, which was reproduced in metal and steel for the Goodwood Festival
Originally designed for the virtual racing game Gran Turismo, the 2020 Nissan
prototype Vision liked so that actual implementation was requested by the engineering team. The result is a real and complete final model, but without any mechanical component.
Thus, the model presented at the Goodwood Festival is a physical representation of a virtual clone created using the latest virtual design tools.
The prototype is described as a 2 +2 sports car, complete with four-wheel transmission, equipped with the technology race, but designed for the road. Where designers and engineers have relied heavily by cons, it is in terms of aerodynamic design. Pushed to the extreme, the design of the hull is designed to perform aerodynamically as possible. As we can see, the result is rather excessive, but not unattractive.
